Joanne is a PCC certified coach with 9 years experience coaching others to recognize their true value and achieve the unimaginable.  She has a passion for connection, creativity and being a catalyst for transformation in others.  Joanne partners with her clients to help them find their voice and live authentically. She creates a safe, inviting space, where her clients are led to discover their true potential, grow in confidence and overcome the barriers to living the life they desire.

Joanne has been helping people reach their potential for more than 30 years. With a background in Education working with neurodivergent teens or coaching healthcare workers to feel more energized and passionate about their work and lives.  She supports people who feel overwhelmed,struggle with imposter syndrome, or low confidence, who deep down believe they have much more to offer. She helps them shift from holding back to courageous action, from fear and shame to self acceptance and compassion, from feeling uncertain to feeling confident assurance and from stunted and dissatisfied to thriving and growing.

What is the difference between therapy and coaching?

  • Therapy (also called counselling or psychotherapy) focuses on mental health, healing past wounds, and emotional well-being. Therapists help clients manage conditions like depression, anxiety, trauma, or relationship challenges.
  • Life Coaching focuses on goal-setting, personal development, and future success. Coaches help clients create action plans, improve motivation, and enhance performance in areas like career, relationships, or productivity.

When to work with a life coach
