My Approach
My work is grounded in compassion, and I take a relational, trauma-informed approach that draws on my background in social work, healthcare systems, and occupational health research. I look at the whole person, not just what's happening at work, but how it ripples into your relationships, your health, and your day-to-day life. Together, we explore challenges weighing on you at a pace that feels right, in a space that makes room for honesty, reflection, and repair.
I understand the particular strain of caring professions, whether that's working in healthcare, veterinary medicine, or another field where you're constantly holding space for others. I also work with clients managing chronic health conditions, where the emotional load of navigating your body or a diagnosis can be its own kind of exhausting, as well as unpaid caregivers and family members supporting a person through their own health challenges.
You can expect collaborative, non-judgmental sessions guided by what matters to you. There's space for difficulties, but also for insight and connection. Outside the practice, I live in London, Ontario, with my husband and our dog, Chef. When I'm not working, you will usually find me playing music or hiking.
